Weapon(s): Though he carries no direct weapons on him, he often uses a variety of tools, from heavy defensive armor, spiked armor as a weapon, large swords, giant swords, great axes, metal fists, etc.
Fighting Style: Matsuo focuses on physical combat for the most part, using his iron manipulating jutsus to aid with either offensive or defensive armor, or as a variety of fluid weapons, though he also uses mainly defensive earth jutsu, physical attack enhancing lightning jutsus and a variety of non-elemental jutsus for support if the situation calls for it.

History

Matsuo's rise to power directly coincides with the reformation of Kumogakure no Sato, though most of that is a subject for history books. The simple version is that Matsuo started out as a ninja/gladiator in one of Kumo's famous fighting pits, and after years of deadly fights, he eventually rose to the very top, where he stayed for several years as the, now very rich, renowned Gladiator King. Eventually, when it became time to select a new Raikage, he was the obvious choice for the position.

Traditionally, most Raikage's, always picked for their strength, stayed generally away from political issues, and Matsuo was expected to do the same, especially as he had never been known for his intelligence, instead possessing a battle cunning. However, he surprised everyone by quickly moving to seize power and reforming the village in countless ways, eventually taking control of the Land of Clouds away from the corrupt Daimyo's and instituting mandatory training for every citizen and establishing a strict diplomatic policy of neutrality.

Years later, Matsou generally spends his time watching the newer gladiators fight, occasionally training a promising new student, and overseeing political meetings between nations.
